Mindfulness Painting Workshop

Join us at a studio for a mindful art project that promotes awareness of borderline personality disorder (BPD). BPD can have a significant impact on a person’s life, affecting their relationships and emotional wellbeing. Through the combination of mindfulness and art, we aim to explore how creativity can support emotional regulation and improve mental health. Kathleen Kruiper will begin with a brief introduction to mindfulness and then help guide you in painting your own sky landscape. Our focus will be on creating a serene and calming atmosphere that reflects the stability and balance that people with BPD may find challenging to achieve. By using art as a medium for mindfulness practice, we hope to help participants develop greater self-awareness and emotional regulation skills, which can be essential for managing BPD symptoms. Supplies provided.
