Support and information for those living with BPD and their loved ones.
We’re Here to Help
The Borderline Personality Disorder Society of BC was founded in 2012 in an effort to fill the gaps in service for people living with BPD and their loved ones.
We offer hope, validation, and shared experience through our peer-led support groups, as well as support for system navigation. Moreover, we provide regular multi-skills Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) groups for adults in addition to a skills group for current graduates of DBT.
The Society brings education and resources to the community at large, including through our speaker’s bureau for medical professionals, schools, and other non-profits seeking to learn more about what BPD is and is not, and how best to support someone living with BPD.
We work with a goal to create awareness of the stigma that exists around BPD; educate the public using current evidence-based information about BPD and its treatments; and support the BPD community to live a life worth living through peer support, validation, community engagement, and access to appropriate services.
