Rethinking BPD: Neurodiversity, Family Dynamics & Finding Your Way to Recovery

In honour of BPD Awareness Month 2026, the Borderline Personality Disorder Society of BC invites you to a virtual fundraiser and Zoom Webinar featuring a moderated conversation with Brandys Evans, DCP, RCC-ACS, Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy and Registered Clinical Counsellor at Boomerang Counselling.

Hosted by Michelle VanderEnde (the mindful wildflower), this conversation will move beyond stigma, stereotypes, and deficit-based understandings of BPD. Together, we will explore what BPD is and is not, how shame shapes the lived experience of BPD, why relationships and family dynamics matter, and what building a life worth living can look like in practice.

This event is designed especially for clinicians, counsellors, therapists, social workers, students, and mental health professionals who want to deepen their understanding of BPD and offer more compassionate, informed, and effective support. People with lived experience, families, loved ones, and community members are also warmly welcome.

All donations support the BPD Society of BC’s peer support, education, advocacy, and community programming for people affected by BPD across British Columbia.
